The letters I illustrate are usually done using color pencil.  Each letter takes about 3 hours for me to create.  I do most of my work after I get off of my day job so it can take two weeks to finish a word or name.  Most letters are about 5" tall with the finished framed piece measuring 19 3/4" x 9".  There can be variations though and it really depends on the word or name! 

The part that is fun for me and for the receiver is to find a topic or theme that they love and then let me create their name or their favorite word.  I've made names or words for all ages from yet-to-be-born babies to the wise and frisky.  Whatever your ideas...bring them on!
